‘And a Tribute To My Mom’

Happy Mother’s Day-Week! ❤️

I took my mother to the beautiful U.S. Botanic Garden because of her love for flowers. I brought her to this garden because it is a reflection of her beauty. She is like a flower but more than a flower because she will blossom Forever.

I came across these definitions of flower from Collins English Dictionary and they are great explanations…

Collins describes flower as [the part of a plant which is often brightly coloured, grows at the end of a stem, and only survives for a short time.]

A mother is like a flower and God is the plant, She represents the colors of God’s love as she herself grows.

I’m honored to have a mother that is so connected to God. She molded me very early in age to speak up and to be ready to accept the important roles in life.

A mother’s love and her flower is also like a butterfly – changing from basic to better to fly.

My mother is no ordinary mother. I don’t believe any mother is ordinary. Mothers are here to encourage their child’s greatness and goodness, to help their child be safe and comforted until they know who they are and are ready to fly.

Collins also defines flower as [the stem of a plant that has one or more flowers on it and has been picked…and presented…]

God presents us with mothers to give us everything what we need to grow. Some people have more than one mother, a mother-figure picked out just for you to guide and love you and treat you as if you are an extension of her. That’s special.

I know my mother understood her gift in raising me. She has my back. She has been there for me.

I love this Collins flower definition, [when a plant or tree flowers, it’s flowers appear and open.]

Flowers are full of life. When you see flowers they make you happy and want to smile. An open flower is love from the shining sun for the world to see.

Thankful my mother is so bright for my family and for anyone to see.

This flower definition I love too, [when something flowers, for example a relationship, it gets stronger and more successful.]

A flower is more than something pretty to look at and sweet to smell. It also represents progress. And recognizing where something started to what it is become.

Ma, I look up to you and your spirit for everyday growth.

Collins final definition of flower is this, [a person or thing that is described as the flower of something is the best part or example of it.]

Mothers are usually our first teachers. Mothers give us advice, truth, step-by-step lessons, their experiences and support, and correction. We have to love our mothers. Pray for and with our mothers- that they give us the best that they ‘got’.

The only difference between my mother and a flower is that she will last forever in me… my heart, soul, mind and strength. I’m blessed to have her.

I don’t know if she ever understood it but I would tell my mother “if you never teach me or show me anything else, it’s ok.” I hope she knows I say that because she’s already given me everything I need- the best and a rosy foundation.

Much Love
